Terms and Conditions of Purchase from Guna Glas

1. Pricing

All prices are quoted in Euro and include VAT (where applicable) at the current rates. Payment is accepted in Euro only. For up to date current exchange rates we recommend XE.com .

A  non-refundable deposit of 60% of the cost of each order is required before work on a costume will commence. The balance is required before the order is dispatched.

Charges for packing, shipping and insurance (if required) are not included in the quoted price and will be charged to the client at the actual rate payable. Overseas customers are fully liable for any charges imposed by customs or other regulatory bodies in their country of residence.

2. Ordering

Once you have paid a deposit for a dress, you are deemed to have placed an order. Completeing the order forms on this site consitiutes an initial enquiry and no legal contract exists until such time as we have accepted your order and a deposit has been paid.

We accept orders by phone and mail as well as online.

Our final acceptance of an order takes place only after we have consulted with you, agreed a price and recived the appropriate deposit. We will send you an order confirmation by email.

3. Order Cancellation and Returns

If you wish to cancel your order, please be aware that the initial deposit paid is non-refundable.

As all our dresses are custom made for each individual, they are based on the measurements provided by the customer and the fabrics and decorations chosen during your consultation with us. We take enormous care to ensure that each dress is made to a very high standard and to the exact requirements of each customer.

We are not responsible for errors in fit which result from inaccurate measuring nor are we responsible for any damage which occurs after a dress has been dispatched, no matter how these arise. We are under no obligation to make repairs or alterations.

Because of the one-off nature of our costumes, once your dress is created and dispatched, no returns can be accepted unless the dress has obvious flaws in manufacture.

If you believe there is a flaw in craftsmanship, you must report this to us within 48 hours of receipt of the dress. If we then approve a return, you must mail the dress to us  within another 48 hours. The customer must pay for any additional postage arising from the return and must insure the item being returned to us.
